I live in Pennsylvania with my wonderful husband and our two joyful daughters, who always enjoy a good story. We have read (and re-read) thousands of children’s books. Did you know our local library has a limit on how many books you can have checked out at once? I do, because we have hit that number too many times (it’s 100!). If books were edible, we would eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and midnight snack.

Not only do my children love reading books, but they also love to hear stories! I have been telling bedtime stories for over a decade now- some have been told on repeat for years and new ones are constantly created on the fly.

I have had many jobs, among them archeologist and teacher, but my very favorite (and hardest) is mother. And I am a mom on a mission: to share a love of literature and learning with my two daughters, and to teach them that they can, even if they can't yet. When my daughters suggested that I make one of our many bedtime stories into a "real book", I answered them with, "I can't do that". Then they reminded me that I forgot to add that most important part: yet. It takes a village, and I am seeking an agent who can become a part of mine so that I can show my daughters that I can add "author" to my list of many jobs. 

When I’m not cuddled up reading with the kiddos in my free time, I can be found hiking, camping, gardening, doing yoga, baking, chasing after my bestie while she runs or my kids while they mountain bike, and challenging myself with “yet”. My family inspires me to keep exploring this world in so many ways- like overcoming my fear of heights to ski, ride roller coasters, and rock climb with them, or my fear of sharks to try surfing. Coming up this summer: open water swimming!
